Following an upgrade to my Gentoo system I had problems connecting to my Samsung CLP-325 printer via a old Sitecom LN-309 printer server and getting it to print. Here is how I finally got it to work.
The IP of the Sitecom LN-309 is 192.168.1.2, using port 9100 as standard.
Go to http://foo2qpdl.rkkda.com/ and follow the instructions.
Open http://localhost:631/admin and add a new printer.
Ignore any printer address found and use socket://192.168.1.2:9100 instead.
Set up the printer as required.
